How can long-lasting machines be modernized efficiently? Which retrofit solutions extend their life cycle sustainably? We explored these and many other questions in a workshop with experts.   <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"552\" data-end=\"849\">One thing is clear: spare parts shortages and outdated technologies should not be a reason for downtime! Retrofitting opens up new possibilities by specifically renewing central components and upgrading machines technologically. This keeps performance high &#8211; economically and sustainably at the same time.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"1069\">The close exchange with the experts from Joseph Hubert showed how crucial innovative retrofit strategies are for the future viability of these machines.
