In this case, an axle shaft for Matisa P 95 was replaced.
After dismantling, old press-on damage was found on the wheel disk fitting seat of the wheelset shaft. This type of damage is not permitted and means that the wheelset shaft must be replaced. The cleaned and inspected gearbox was mounted on a new axle shaft provided by the customer.
