Closing ranks in service

Deutsche Plasser Bahnbaumaschinen GmbH and the Robel Business Unit Service & Customer Service (S&K) now form a single unit: Plasser Robel Services GmbH (PRS) was established on 01.01.2022 as the largest service organization of the Plasser & Theurer Group.

In future, PRS will support the entire life cycle of Plasser & Theurer’s rail-bound vehicles and machines in selected markets and Robel’s worldwide, making it a customer partner and central point of contact for all service segments of both brands.

Karl Oberreiter, former Managing Director of Deutsche Plasser and Head of the Robel Business Unit S&K, takes over the management of the company with a total of 250 employees at the three sites in Munich, Opladen and
Freilassing.

Information on the PRS organizational structure
Deutsche Plasser Bahnbaumaschinen GmbH (DP), based in Munich, was renamed Plasser Robel Services GmbH (PRS) on 01.01.2022. PRS is the legal successor to DP, and the service company’s headquarters will remain in Munich.

Information on Robel Holding GmbH
As the holding company for the Robel Group brands, Robel Holding GmbH bundles six subsidiaries for the internationalization and expansion of the product portfolio as well as a service company for the Group products in selected countries. The following companies and sales companies are part of the holding company: Robel Bahnbaumaschinen GmbH, Robel France SAS, Robel North America Corporation, Robel Railway Engineering Technology (Shanghai) Co. Ltd, Vogel & Plötscher GmbH & Co KG, Schweerbau International GmbH & Co KG, Plasser Robel Services GmbH.
